Will this organizer fit?

Before you buy a basket, cart or storage box, compare its outside dimensions with the space you actually have.

This free tool checks one upright orientation. It compares measurements, not product safety or guaranteed fit. Your measurements stay in your browser.

Changing units converts the numbers you have entered.

1. Measure the usable space

Use the narrowest inside dimensions, after allowing for hinges, pipes, skirting and other obstructions.

2. Measure the organizer

Use the exact variant’s full outside size, including handles, lids, feet and wheels.

3. Reserve working room

Optional total extra room on each axis. Enter the allowance needed for your product and task. Zero means no allowance has been included; it is not a recommendation.

For a pull-out cart, check the clear floor in front separately. For a lid, include the open-lid requirement from the product instructions.

Optional: check a straight-through opening

Checks the same upright width and height through a rectangular opening. It does not model turning, tilting, corridors or assembly inside the space. Enter both dimensions or leave both blank.

Measure once. Check the whole routine.

  1. Measure the space at its narrowest point.
  2. Check the exact product variant and include protruding parts.
  3. Test a cardboard footprint and the route in and out.
  4. Check stability, load limits, ventilation and fitting instructions before use.

Keep required access and escape routes clear. Confirm rental permission before fitting storage.
